Yes, Conexxwesi Containers does deliver! We offer delivery on all containers purchased or leased through our company.
How do you deliver containers?
All containers are delivered with a truck and a goose-neck tilt-bed trailer. The driver will back into the area, tilt the trailer, and slide it into place as they pull forward. This is why we ask for a certain amount of straight-line clearance on behalf of the customer’s desired drop space when delivering. (Eighty feet of clearance for 10′ or 20′ containers; 120 feet for a 40′.)
Will you move my container?
We can! We just ask that the container is emptied prior to the move. Generally, all moves are billed hourly, starting at $175 per hour with a 2-hour minimum, “port to port.” This means the clock starts when our driver leaves the yard and does not stop until they return to one of our yards.
Goose-Neck Tilt-Bed Truck and Trailer
Delivery trucks are equipped with a gooseneck tilt-bed trailer to facilitate smooth offloading. This method ensures containers can be placed accurately and efficiently, minimizing the time spent on-site.
Prior to delivery, we ask for a few things from you to make sure things run smoothly:
- Leveled area: The delivery area must be flat and level to ensure your cargo stays secure and the container doors open properly.
- Payment prior to delivery: Please settle payment before delivery. We accept cash, check, or credit for both rentals and purchases.
- Adequate notice: Due to container and driver shortages, we recommend providing ample notice for deliveries. Current estimates are 2 to 4 weeks for purchases and 1 to 3 weeks for rentals.
- Adequate clearance: Allow 80 feet of straight-line clearance for a 20′ container and 120 feet for a 40′ unit. Overhead clearance of about 14 feet is typically sufficient, as the container reaches a maximum height of 16 feet when the trailer bed is tilted.
- Flexibility: Tilt-bed trailer deliveries may not allow for exact placement. While our drivers will position the container as close as possible to your desired location, tight spots may require a forklift or crane for precise placement. Exact placement isn’t guaranteed, so your flexibility is appreciated.
- Patience: We’re navigating worldwide supply-chain challenges and a driver shortage. We’ll strive to meet your expected delivery timeline.
